Following the Indian Ocean Tsunami disaster, Brit Olam dispatched over a dozen delegations specializing in medical and psycho-trauma aid to India and Sri Lanka to help establish four comprehensive community centers. Since then, Brit Olam has been involved in aid operations in Congo, Ethiopia, Georgia and Haiti. In addition, Brit Olam works with refugees and internally displaced persons (IDPs) from various countries, including Darfur and South Sudan, Eritrea and Uganda.
