Jimmy is 10 years old now. He was born in Janyi village, Namulanda and lives with both parents. Jimmy completed from Nazareth in 2019 and is now in primary one in Janyi primary school. After Nazareth, Jimmy did not go straight to start primary as his parents could not afford to take him to school in that year. He stayed home as his parents looked for school fees which is why Jimmy is 10 years in primary one. He comes from a rural community, in a very poor family that relies on farming on small scale and riding boda-boda for commercial purpose. Jimmy does not get enough support from his parents but would like to study up to University to pursue a course and become a medical doctor.

Alice was born on 15.02.2012 in Northern Uganda, a region that suffered human torture, breakdown of infrastructures and death, During the Lord Resistant Army rebel activities.  Alice graduated from Nazareth Child Care Center in 2018 and joined Brandies Nursery and Primary School where she is now in the second year (primary 2). She has good academic permanence, good health and excellent social functioning. Her dream is to be a doctor and she wishes to be helped so that she can pursue it.

Ssebalimu Jordan was born on the 09.06.2012 in Nganjo. He graduated Nazareth Child Care Center in 2018. Jordan is previlaged to live with both parents in Nganjo. He studies at primary two at Christ the King Primary. His little sister Jethro is on the Nazareth Child Care program. His parents support the family by engaging in fare trade and washing laundry. Although these are not well-paying jobs, his parents are committed to doing their best to support Jordan and his sister. His worry now is whether their parents shall able to raise enough money to take them to more years of schooling.

Kiwanuka Prosper was born on 18.04.2012. He lives with both parents in Janyi village in Namulanda, Entebbe. Prosper graduated from Nazareth Child Care Center in 2019. After Nazareth he joined Canaan Nursery and Primary School in Namulanda, Entebbe and is currently in the first year (primary one). In January 2021 Prosper will be in primary two. His family are famers and trade small agricultural commodities in the local market. They do not earn much from it and are not sure if they will afford to pay Prosper to attend all the levels of primary, secondary and at University. Prosper loves airplanes and technology and wishes to become a pilot. He is very passionate about pursuing the dream.

Joyce was born on 24.03.2012 in Nganjo, Namulanda, Entebbe. She graduated from Nazareth in 2019 and now attends to Janyi Primary School where she is in primary one. Joyce is fortunate to have both her parents alive and she is living with them. They are small income earners. Joyce does not get enough support to help with her school requirements. She hopes that there will be a way for her in the future to help with her education until she graduates from a University. Joyce loves fashion and design and intends to study it in future.

Rahuma was born on the 26.06.2013. She lives with her family in Jani village and has both parents alive. Rahuma graduated from Nazareth in 2018 and after joined Brandies Nursery and Primary School where she is in second year (primary two). Recently she had a health complication that affected her skin. Her parents were not able to take her to a good hospital because they could not afford paying for it and losing a day’s work. Rahuma’s family are farmers. They grow crops and trade in the local markets. Rahuma wants to be an activist to advocate for girl child education and equal opportunities. She hopes to go to the University one day and prays that she gets scholarship to pay her to study.

Isaac was born on the 12.12.2013 in a small trading center called Nganjo. Today he lives with both parents. Isaac graduated from Nazareth Child Care Center in 2019. After Nazareth Isaac joined Canaan Primary School in Namulanda and by the time of the Covid 19 outbreak he was in primary one. Isaac hopes to start school in January 2021 after the government allows opening of academic institutions. He wants to study hard so that he will have the opportunity of going to University and pursuing his dream of receiving medical studies. Although Isaac dreams big, he is not certain about his future because the family cannot pay his tuition fee and allow his siblings to study at the same time.

Blessing was born on 21.05.2013. She lives with both her parents in Nganjo in Namulanda, Entebbe. In her village there is no proper health care and that worries her parents. The clinics and private facilities are too expensive and her parents cannot allow themselves the high prices. The family cultivate crops and sell in the local markets to earn a living, a rough and unstable income. Blessing graduated from Nazareth in 2019 and now attending primary one at Mother Mary Primary and Nursery School in Namulanda, Entebbe.  She hopes to go to University and pursue social work so that she can give back to her community by participating in development processes.

Makoline was born on 24.11.2013 in Nganjo village in Namulanda, Entebbe. She lives with both parents in Nganjo. Makoline graduated from Nazareth in 2019 and is currently in Primary one in Canaan Primary School in Namulanda. She comes from a very poor family. Both her parents do not work at a stable job. They trade small agricultural goods in the local markets and her father rides motorcycle (boda-boda) for commercial purpose- carrying passengers. She hopes to attend University in future and practice her passion- nursing. Makoline knows that her parents won’t be able to provide for her school requirements up to the University. She has faith that God shall provide her with opportunities to study

Eva is born on the 12.06.2013. Eva lost her mother as a child, and since then she lives with her grandmother. She does not know anything of her father. Even though Eva had difficulties as child without her parents she is very positive, happy and committed young girl. She graduated from Nazareth in 2019 and currently attending primary one at Canaan Nursery and Primary School in Namulanda, Entebbe. Her grandmother is an old woman and without a job, and today she is only practicing subsistence agriculture on a very low scale. Sometimes she stones quarrying in order to support Eva with food and school requirements. Eva does not get enough support since the grandmother has very small income. She hopes to go to University one day and pursue her dream of practicing in fashion. Although Eva is passionate and hardworking, her future to continue school remains a question.

Dalton was born on the 02.06.2013. He lives with both mother and father in Nganjo village in Namulanda, Entebbe. Dalton graduated from Nazareth in 2018. He is currently in primary one at Canaan Nursery and primary school. Dalton’s family are farmers and trade local commodities in the local markets. He intends to support his parents when he grows up and gets a paying job. Dalton wishes to be like all other children in the world, and enable his family a good and healthy life.

Tendo was born on the 04.08.2013. Tendo lives with both parents. Tendo is currently going to primary one at Canaan Nursery and Primary School in Namulanda, Entebbe. He also comes from a poor neighborhood in Nganjo village. At his village, health care clinics are extremely poor. Families walk long distances to find government hospitals and private clinics are expensive. Tendo hopes to grow up and work at the government so that he will be able to have influence and insure health care centers in his community and in all communities,  so that every child, women and men can be healthy and have a basic well being.

Joyce was born on 22.03.2013. She graduated from Nazareth Child Care Center in 2019. She goes to Janyi Primary School in Namulanda, Entebbe, where she studies in primary one. Joyce comes from a poor background, her parents earn living by trading agricultural commodities in the nearby trading center, a job that does not make a significant profit. Although her family background is not good, Joyce remains a humble and diligent child and hopes to go to finish her school studies and have an opportunity to pursue her career in fashion and design which will earn her income to improve the status quo of her family.

John was born on 21.04.2014. He lives in Nganjo village in Namulanda, Entebbe. John lost his mother at a very young age and is currently being raised by his father. He goes to Mother Mary Primary School in Namulanda. Kizito is now in primary two. He is a healthy, joyful and positive boy who dreams of the future. He wants to study hard so that he will be able to become a social worker and touch lives of vulnerable children, families and communities.

Keith was born on the 04.09.2014 in Janyi village. He graduated Nazareth Child Care Center in 2019. By the time of the COVID-19 lockdown Keith was going to primary one at Janyi primary school. Keith’s parents are farmers and earn living from small trade of agricultural commodities. Keith is a happy child who loves to play and create. He hopes that someday he will be able to touch other lives and influence on other people. His parents are committed to helping his dream come true in the best possible way they can, and make sure he lives in an encouraging and welcoming environment.

Tony is born on the 02.04.2012. He is now 9 years old and a graduate from Nazareth Child Care Center in 2019. He lives with a guardian relative. Tony goes to Gracious primary school in Namulanda, Entebbe and is now in primary one. In 2021, when the government opened schools to resume after COVID-19 lockdown, Tony continued his studying at primary two. He comes from a rural community, basically farmers. When he grows up, Tony wants to use his time well to inspire children to love their parents and to love education. He intends to be a college teacher when he grows up, although it is not clear to Tony’s caretaker whether they will be able to provide for his academic needs.

Buyinza Aloysius comes from a small trading center in Dewei, Namulanda. He was born on 02.11.2010. Aloysius graduated from Nazareth child care center in 2018 and after joined Gracious Primary School where he is now in primary two. He lives with his father and mother in Dewei and helps them with house chores during school holidays. Aloysius’s family are predominantly farmers. They grow food crops and engage in small trade of food commodities within their trading center. Aloysius is so passionate about farming, he wants to own cattle and goats and earn enough so he can support his family when he grows up. He hopes to study hard and reach the university, where he can study and understand how to make the best out of farming.

Angela was born on 02.02.2014 in Nganjo village, Namulanda. She goes to school in Janyi primary. She graduated from Nazareth Child Care Center in 2019 and is now in primary one. Angela has excellent academic performance and good social functioning. She is living with both her parents in Nganjo. Angela’s father is paying for her academic studies although he is a low-income earner. He knows that he won’t be able to effort his other children the same education, but he hopes that she will be able to help with house financing once she will finish school. Her dream is to become a doctor and help others in need.

Timothy was born on 5.11.2013. He lives with both his parents in Dewei village in Namulanda. Timothy goes to primary one at Kevina Primary School. Before joining Kevina, he was at Nazareth Child Care Center. Timothy is now in primary two. His father works at brick laying to support Timothy’s academic needs. Despite that, Timothy does not get enough support from the family, who can old provide little due to their low income. Timothy help with house chores whenever he is around and available from school, he is a cheerful child who wishes to help his family as much as possible. He looks forward to completing primary and to continue to pursue his dream of becoming a teacher.

Ronita was born in 2013. Today, she lives in Dewei village in Namulanda with both her parents. She had recently graduated from the Nazareth Child Care Center. Ronita is currently in primary two in Canaan primary school. She has excellent social functioning and academic performance. Ronita is a caring, loving and helpful child, who always finds thing to do in the house and ways to help her parents whenever she is not occupied with school chores. She gives inspiration and motivation to her parents, who wish to make her dream come true and enable her school fees. Ronita wants go to University to pursue a course in medicine.

Christine was born on 01st 01, 2013. He is in primary one at Canaan primary school. Christine completed from Nazareth in 2019. She lives with his parents in Nganjo. Christine is healthy, and her academic performance is also good. Her parents raise income by selling food commodities.

Farouk was born on 11th 03, 2013. He lives in Nganjo with his parents. Farouk graduated from Nazareth in 2019 and is in primary 1 at Golden Boys Primary School. Farouk’s parents work at stone quarrying and raise little income to support his school fees and other requirements. Farouk’s health is good and he performs well in class.

Monica was born on the 8th 8, 2013. She lives with both parents in Nganjo village in Namulanda, Entebbe. She is a graduate from Nazareth in 2019 and is now attending primary education at Immaculate Heart Primary School where she is in primary 1. Immaculate comes from a very poor family, they do not afford basic health care. Her parents are jobless.

Daniel is born on the 15th 02, 2010 in a small village called Nganjo in Namulanda, Entebbe. He lives with the mother and father and other siblings. Daniel graduated from Nazareth Child Care Center in 2018 and is in primary two at Bethel Primary School in Namulanda. He has good academic performance and excellent social abilities. His family are very poor, earns living from growing of crops and selling the harvests in local markets.

William primary was born 25th 06, 2009. After graduating from Nazareth, he started studying at primary two at Canaan primary school. William’s parents grow crops and this is how they support their family. William is healthy, performs well and has good social functioning.

Nabirye born on 04th 03, 2012 in Nganjo village. Nabirye is in primary two at Jjanyi primary. She completed Nazareth in 2018. Nabirye is a sister to Nabwire Nashiba. Her parents grow food crops and sometimes work at stone quarrying to raise income to support the family. The child is healthy and performs well in class.

Nabwire  was born on 10th 05, 2011 in Nganjo. She completed at Nazareth in 2018 and is in Primary 2 at Jjanyi primary. Nashiba performs well in class, has good social functioning and relates well with other children while at school and at home. Her parents grow food crops and sometimes work at stone quarrying to raise income to support the family. Her social functioning is good.

Ketrah was born on 03rd, 03, 2013. She lives in Nganjo village in Namulanda. She is now in primary three at Mother Mary primary School in Jjanyi. Ketrah completed from Nazareth Child Care Center in 2016. Her mother earns income by selling fish while her the father cultivates crops. Ketrah has good academic performance.

Babirye was born on 09th 02, 2013 in Nganjo village in Namulanda. She is in primary three at Jjanyi Primary School. Babirye’s parents are subsistence farmers and sometimes are engaged in stone quarrying as side income to support the family. She graduated from Nazareth in 2016.  Sylvia is healthy, loves to go to school and relates well with other children.

Martin was born on 09th 02, 2013 in Nganjo village. He is a twin brother to Babirye Sylvia. Martin is in primary 3 at Jjanyi primary school in Namulanda. Both parents are subsistence farmers and sometimes are engaged in stone quarrying. He graduated from Nazareth in 2016. Martin is a healthy child and performs well in school.

Emmanuel was born on 26th 04, 2011 in Jjanyi village. His father is a farmer and mother is a beneficiary on the Topaz Mirembe fare trade program where she is producing baskets and jewelry for sales both in Uganda and in Israel market. Emmanuel is in primary 3 in Jjanyi Primary School. He graduated from Nazareth in 2017.

Kaweera  born on 13th, 08, 2010 in Nganjo village in Namulanda. He is in primary 3 in Jjanyi primary School in Namulanda. Kaweera’s father and mother are both farmers.  Kaweera graduated from Nazareth in 2017. Kaweera is healthy with good social functioning. He performs well in class.

Wages born on 26th 02, 2011 is in primary three. After losing his father, Wages left Mother Mary Primary School in Jjanyi to go and study from his mother’s village in Erusi primary School in Northern Uganda. Wages could not afford to continue school in Namulanda because it became difficult for her poor and single mother. Wages completed from Nazareth in 2017.
