Her parents earn income from stone quarrying and this is how Anna and her twin get little support. She is in middle class at Nazareth Child Care Center. Anna is in good health and has good academic performance.
Mercy was born on 05th 07, 2015. She lives in Nganjo village in Namulanda, Entebbe, with both parents and five other siblings. Mercy who is middle class comes from a humble background and the family mainly rely on stone quarrying and subsistence agriculture as means of livelihood. Mercy is quiet and humble but loves to play with her siblings and with other children while she is at school.
Josephine Namwanje, born on 4th 06, 2015. Josephine lives with her grandmother in Nganjo village. Her father lives far away and earns his living from riding motorcycles where he carries passengers and their goods to their destinations within Kampala. Josephine is middle class at Nazareth Child Care Center in Namulanda. Josephine is a quiet child with good academic performance, good social functioning and good overall functioning.
Akram Ssembajwe was born on 06th 09, 2015. She is living with a grandmother in Nganjo village in Namulanda. She has three other siblings and they all live together. Akram is currently in middle class. She has excellent academic performance, good health, and relates well with other children. Akram loves to go to school.
Patricia was born on the 06th 04, 2015. She lives in Jjanyi with both her parents and two younger sisters. Her village is a remote one with poor infrastructures including health care. Patricia is now in her middle class. Patricia’s parents trade small agricultural commodities in the local markets and provide for her school fees and health care. Patricia is a happy and energetic child.
Kirabo was born on 11th 09 2015 in Nganjo village in Namulanda where she is also residing with both parents and other two siblings. Coming from a poor family where growing crops is the main source of livelihood, Kirabo frequently absent school due to financial challenges. She is in middle class. When she cannot attend school, she helps her parents at the farm. She is healthy, quiet and performs well in class.
Isha was born on 02nd 05, 2014 and is living with both parents. His family grow crops and sell for survival. Isha loves to play with friends. She is healthy and has excellent academic performance. She is now in middle class at Nazareth Child Care Center. Her parents though poor are working so hard to provide for Isha to go to school. They are not certain if they will be able to continue to provide for Isha even in higher academic levels.
Maria was born on 7th 08, 2015 in Nganjo village in Namulanda in Entebbe. She is living with her grandmother and seven siblings and has a brother at Nazareth Child Care Center. Maria is in middle class at Nazareth Child Care Center. Her health is very good, she has very good academic excellence and loves taking care of her siblings. Maria, just like her brother Joseph are taken care of by their grandmother who earns a very low income.
Zaina was born on 26th 02, 2012. She is a sister to Abawo Bright. She lives with a grandmother who is also taking care of 6 other siblings in Jjanyi village, Namulanda. She is in middle class and has got very good overall functioning and good academic performance. Her grandmother who has no job cannot take care of all her needs and those of other siblings at home. She hopes to be a nurse and t support her grandmother when she grows up.
Calvin was born on the 8th June 2015 in jjanyi village, Namulanda, Entebbe. He has one other sibling, and they are being raised by both parents. His health is very good with very good functional ability. Calvin joined Nazareth child care center in 2019. He is in middle class and his academic achievement and social functioning is very good. Calvin’s parents are farmers with very low income. His mother also works as a laundress to earn some extra income, but it is very difficult to meet the family’s need.
Judith was born on the 25th February 2014. She comes from Jjanyi village, Namulanda Entebbe. Judith lives with both parents; her mother grow food crops as means to livelihood, and her father works as a driver in the local area. Her health and overall functioning are good. She is in middle class at Nazareth child care center and her academic performance has been good since she joined in 2019. Judith should have been in primary one but due to school fees failure she stayed home and delayed to complete nursery.
Viola was born on 13th 02, 2015. She goes to Nazareth Child Care Center and currently in middle class. Viola loves helping her parents with garden work and house chores. She lives in Jjanyi in Namulanda. She is bright and has excellent social functioning.
Desire was born on 20th 12, 2014 in Jjanyi village in Namulanda, Entebbe. She is currently in middle class and had good academic performance, good health and good overall functioning. Both her parents earn income working at stone quarrying, a job that doesn’t pay well enough to keep the family going. Desires is a bright child, health and has good overall functioning.
Jordan was born on 25th 05 2015 in Nganjo village in Namulanda, Entebbe. He lives with both parents who work at subsistence farming in order to raise money for Jordan and his brother. Jordan is in middle class at Nazareth Child Care Center. Jordan has excellent academic performance and good social and overall function. He likes to play with toy airplanes and cars.
Valeria was born on 17th 11, 2015 in Nganjo village in Namulanda, Entebbe. He lives with both parents and has no siblings. They both work at their farm, grow crops and sell them at the market. Valeria’s parents hope to support him to pursue education but are not certain if they will be able to. He has excellent ability to relate with others and school performance is also good. Valeria is now in middle class. He loves to solve puzzles and read to the younger children in Nazareth center.
Kato was born on 02nd 03, 2015 in Nganjo village in Namulanda. He and seven other children live with old grandmother after parents left them. His parents work very hard as farmers for a very long time now, but being responsible of such a large family makes it difficult for them to raise enough income to support all the children. Kato who studies in middle class does not receive school fees on time and lacks scholastics usually when school is operating. He is healthy, performs well in class.
Alkam was born on 15.05.2016. She is an only child and lives with her mother in Jjanyi village, Namulanda, Entebbe. Her father left when she was born and her mother is taking care of all her basic needs. Alkam’s mother works as a cook at a local secondary school. Alkam studies at Nazareth nursery school at the middle class and her academic achievement is very good. Her health is excellent and so is her overall functioning. She is always happy and laughing.
Jovia born on 29th 07, 2014 in Nganjo village in Namulanda, Entebbe. Jovia comes from a family of five sibling, all live with their parents. Both her parents work at stone quarrying as means of livelihood and a way to raise little money for their children. Jovia is in middle class. She is bright and performs well in class. Her social functioning is also good, and she loves to talk with the other kids and to help other in the garden.
Doreen was born on 08th 12, 2014, is living with her grandmother in Nganjo in Namulanda, Entebbe. Both her parents grow crops and rear animals as means of livelihood, in a distance village and come to visit her whenever they can travel. They send most of the money they earn to help pay for Doreen’s needs. Sometimes they engage in stone quarrying as side source of income for the family. Doreen goes to Nazareth Nursery School where she is in middle class. She is bright and performs well in class. Her social functioning is also good, she is a happy child who loves to play with dolls.
Adrian, born on 30th 08, 2015 and lives in Nganjo in Namulanda, Entebbe. He lives with both parents. His mother is a beneficiary on the Topaz Mirembe fare trade program and his father is a private security guard. Both his parents don’t earn enough income to support Adrian’s wellbeing. He is in middleclass at Nazareth Child Care Center. His health is good and he performs well in class. Adrian lacks clothes to wear. He sometimes puts on his father’s wears. Adrian is a humble, caring and cheerful child who likes to read and draw
Nasozi was born on 7th .05. 2015 and lives with a single mother in Nganjo in Namulanda. She was abandoned by the father when she was just a baby. She lives together with four older siblings, all supported by their mother. Her mother’s only way to earn living is through subsistence farming. Nasozi is in middle class. She is bright and has excellent school performance since baby class.
Peter was born on 01st 06, 2014. After his father’s death a few years back, he now lives with a single mother and five siblings in Namulanda. He is in middle class. Raising money to support Peter and his siblings is somewhat difficult to their single woman who works at growing food crops for subsistence. Peter is now going to school at Nazareth and is in top class. He has excellent academic performance, good health and very good at relating with other children.
Geoffrey born on 02nd 03, 2016 is currently living with his grandmother in Jjanyi village in Namulanda, Entebbe. He is now in middle class at Nazareth Child Care Center. He has good academic records and good overall functioning. He is living with 5 other siblings. His grandmother is already burdened with the responsibility of looking after all his brothers and sisters. Stone quarrying and fare trade are means through which his grandmother is struggling to raise income to support these children.
Keith was born 04th 08, 2016 in Jjanyi village in Namulanda, Entebbe. Keith is in middleClass at Nazareth Child Care Center. He has good academic performance, good social functioning and healthy. His parents are subsistence farmers with very low income. Keith’s parents hope to see him educated up to University and to pursue his dream. Unfortunately, they struggle to raise school fees and to support Keith with what he needs at school and at home. Keith usually lacks books and other school requirements. He is always interested in discovering new things and knowing more.
Alex born on 26th 11, 2016 lives in Jjanyi village in Namulanda, Entebbe. He comes from a very small family. Both parents have been doing farming for a very long time now. Kasozi is in middle class at Nazareth Child Care Center. He has got excellent academic performance, good overall functioning and good health. Kasozi wants to become a pilot so that he can travel around the world. While he was younger, Kasozi loved flying toy aero planes and playing with his friends.

Elizabeth was born on 20th 07, 2016 and now lives with both parents in a large family with six older siblings. Her parents work very hard at the local market to support all the children but find it hard to meet the family’s needs. Because the children are many, Elizabeth parents struggle to support them all with basic health, food and medical needs. Elizabeth is now in baby class. She is very active in class and has good performance. She also relates well with other children. She loves to play ball outside in the garden with the other children.
