The Inspiration International Academy

IIA is an International Art and Leadership Educational program offering talented and ambitious students a unique chance to acquire a wide range of artistic and leadership skills. The four-year program is a joint venture of Inspiration, Brit Olam, Topaz and the Nagenda International Academy of Art and Design (NIAAD).

Art and international volunteerism are both important motors for social change. While combining it with global and community volunteerism, taking the position of formative social leadership brings the relationship between Art and society to its peak. The artistic expression may lead to unconventional results in challenging situations. It can be used to empower individuals and communities and to make them sustainable economically. It can raise awareness, and it can be used as a therapeutic tool. Around the world, artists are working with diverse communities to create positive change through participatory art making processes.

The program is comprised of two years of intensive extra-curricular studies in the areas of community development, leadership and social entrepreneurship and enable the young artists to expand their expertise in a wide variety of social change methodologies embedded into creative artistic activities. During the second year, the students are expected to implement their supervised fieldwork knowledge that will accompany their training. By developing and honing their creative and artistic abilities, the students will be given the opportunity to learn and experience the arts professionally. They will become creative, and ecologically sensitive entrepreneurs. Thereby, enabling them to use their abilities to sustain themselves economically, enjoy a brighter personal future and become innovative, responsible and industrious members of their society.

Our Sponsorship programs focuses on helping students that cannot afford higher education with the opportunity of succeeding in their world, and encourages a wide social changes through arts.
