Uzi has served as a Board Member for Brit Olam for the past five years. Together with other Board Members, Uzi is works to establish and regulate development projects and forums for Brit Olam. In addition, for the past two years, Uzi has served as an educational consultant in the LIFE Project, a nine-month service-learning program that targets Jewish college graduates from around the world and their Israeli peers in order to develop a new generation of Jewish leaders. Uzi is also involved in the initiation of a new Brit Olam project that aims to deliver Israeli volunteers for short-term missions to work with small and isolated Jewish communities, primarily in South America and Europe.
Uzi has over forty years of experience working on educational advocacy on an international scale, including work for MARMANET, MASHAV (the International Center for Cooperation, Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs), and several projects funded by the World Bank. Through his involvement, Uzi has served as an educational consultant and lecturer in countries across Central and South America, Africa, Asia, and countries of the former Soviet Union.
Uzi holds an M.A. and a B.A. in Humanities and Education from Tel Aviv University.
