judith_neisseJudith Neisse holds an MA with distinction from Albert-Ludwigs-Universit├Ąt in Freiburg, Germany, and an MA in Islamic Studies from Sorbonne University.

She has been working with the European Commission for over 20 years in a wide range of roles in the fields of culture, intercultural dialogue, gender and youth, both internally and as a freelance consultant through her consultancy company Mediana sprl, which focuses on training about EU programmes and project management.

Judith continued to work closely with the EC in 2003 as a programme officer at the Technical Assistance Office for the Socrates Programme for the Adult Education Programme Grundtvig, focusing on culture and cultural dialogue as active citizenship. She has also been a leader in the Euromed Youth Exchange programmes and Euro-Mediterranean Gender Equality program on gender equality and gender based violence.

From 2005 to 2009, Judith was elected as the president of the Roberto Cimetta Fund, which is giving mobility scholarships for artists coming from Arab Mediterranean countries.
