Dr. Sigalat is a medical doctor and specialist in family medicine with an M.Sc. in Pharmacology and a B.Sc. in Biology from the Technion Institute in Haifa.

Dr. Sigalat is the manager of Clalit Heath Service’s Kyriat-Shprinzak Clinic in Haifa. She also teaches medical students and interns at the Technion Institute and works in a travel medicine clinic in Haifa. 

Dr. Sigalat has extensive experience in providing medicine and healthcare to developing countries, and is the project manager of Brit Olam’s sustainable medical development program Israeli Medicine on the Equator. Over they years she has established a primary care clinic in Guinea Bissau, volunteered as a doctor in Uganda and held trainings in domestic violence and post trauma in Peru. 

Dr. Sigalat has also headed and been involved in a number of emergency relief operations though Brit Olam and Natan following the devastating earthquakes in Haiti in 2010 and Nepal in 2014, and most recently providing medical care and post trauma relief to Middle East refugees in Serbia.
