World Wide Volunteer Programs- Brit Olam views volunteerism as critical to the future of our society. We create a platform for committed individuals and groups to give their time and expertise, expanding and deepening volunteer activity and community involvement in the developing world, in local Jewish communities, and in Israel.

Our Volunteers:
Brit Olam recruits, trains, and sets in motion an array of Israeli and Jewish volunteers in conjunction with partner organizations in target cities around the world.

• Israeli backpackers who leave Israel for developing countries to assist local organizations in a variety of activities.
• Israelis and Jews of all ages an of general backgrounds traveling abroad for business or personal purposes.
• Individuals with experience in rescue and emergency operations to assist victims of man-made and natural disasters.
• Individuals with diplomatic connections who live in foreign countries for a specific period of time due to diplomatic assignments and/or involvement.
• Israelis and Jews seeking volunteer opportunities in developing countries.
• Israeli and Jewish professionals of all ages with expertise in any of the following areas:
  • Doctors, paramedics, nurses and general health practitioners to work in health prevention programs, including sexual health, disease prevention, and pollution or contamination – related issues
  • Engineers and architects to assist in building and planning
  • Therapists and rehabilitative professionals to contribute to the assessment and treatment of individuals with special needs
  • Lawyers and paralegals to provide counseling on matters related to cooperatives, small organizations, women, minorities, and individuals’ rights
  • Community and social workers to help local organizations in structural and development matters
  • Business managers to provide expertise in advancing business initiatives
  • Formal and informal educators to lead specialized training and instruction in either their particular filed or as related to the needs of the local population
  • Computer technicians to create proficient technologies for community management and productivity
